The City of Prineville Christmas Train

Each December, the City of Prineville Railroad fires up the Mt. Emily Shay #1 to pull its Christmas Train. Residents and visitors alike show up to experience a ride through the high desert of Central Oregon behind this old steam engine, one of only 23 still in operation.

Having become a serious train afficianado over the last year, The Boy was quite pleased at the opportunity to take a train ride with Gigi, Papa, Braiden, and Tinaisha. The Mom also went along -- and took some pictures.
